2007 Summer Camp Applications

All Camps will be accepting reservations for 2007 per the Application Schedule that follows - Please select the appropriate form below.

Application Schedule (for all camps)

September 29, 2006 - any Western Los Angeles County Council Units applications accepted starting at 8:30 a.m.

October 13, 2006 - any Units attending any of WLACC's Summer Camps in 2006 applications accepted starting at 8:30 a.m.

October 27, 2006 - any Other Units applications accepted starting at 8:30 a.m.

PLEASE NOTE:

• We do not accept walk-in reservations for Out-of-Council units.
• Applications which arrive early are not processed until the end of the first day, and in reverse order of arrival. It is a disadvantage for a unit's application to arrive before the first date on which the unit may apply.
• Please read the Application Brochure for important additional details of application procedures.

CAMPERSHIPS

Campership Application (pdf, 24k) - Camperships are available for units or individuals from Western Los Angeles County Council who would like to attend WLACC camps. More information on financial aid is available by contacting the camping department at: (818) 933-0130 or camping@bsa-la.org

Emerald Bay Staff

Kevin Niles Scholarship - Current Emerald Bay staff members may apply for college scholarship funds for the coming year.  The submission deadline is July 6, 2007.

Rugged Adventurers (Four High Adventure programs on Catalina Island - must be 14 or older)

Rugged "C" - A challenging Canoe Trek around the island.  (This program replaces Canoe Catalina)

Rugged "E" - High Adventure, Leadership, and Team-Building activities.  (Based on Camp E.B.'s long running program)

Rugged "O" - A unique combination of Marine Science, Advanced SCUBA, and Leadership Training.

Rugged SCUBA - PADI Open Water SCUBA Certification PLUS additional activities and development.
