- Myth 1: Emerald Bay always fills up – False!
We have accommodated every unit who has applied in the past four years. Though some weeks reach capacity, if your unit is flexible you can take advantage of discounts on early and late summer sessions. - Myth 2: Units must first attend Camp Whitsett – False!
Going to Whitsett is not a requirement for attendance. However, attending Whitsett will allow you to register two weeks earlier. - Myth 3: Camp is too expensive – False!
For WLACC units financial aid is available through a simple application process. Applications can be requested by calling 818-933-0130.

Scouting Groups
- Weekend camping is available for Scouting groups looking for an exciting, ocean-based experience.
Schools
- Emerald Bay works with partners who provide outdoor educational experiences for school groups. Please contact us for additional information.
Youth Groups
- We provide the facility and an appropriate level of support for many youth organizations. Ask us about how we may work with your group to provide an unequaled experience.
