National High Adventure Base Treks

Taking part in a trek through one of the three National High Adventure bases can be a life changing experience for our youth and their adult leaders! It has been said that a Scout departs on one of these adventures a boy, but returns a man.

Your entire troop or crew can organize and take part in a National High Adventure Base visit, or you may choose to join one of the Western Los Angeles County Council's contingents. Each year WLACC typically organizes at least one National High Adventure Base trip.

• Florida Sea Base - Explore the oceans in the Florida Keys!
• Philmont Scout Ranch - Explore the rugged mountains of New Mexico!
