Blue and Gold Banquet
The Blue and Gold Banquet is a traditional Cub Scout event. It is typically held during Anniversary Week in February when Packs celebrate the anniversary of the start of Boy Scouts of America. Many packs use this annual event as a goal to earn their badges of rank. Each Pack puts on their own Blue and Gold Banquet, usually organized by a Blue and Gold Committee of volunteers to work hard to bring this event to the boys of their Cub Scout Pack. Most Packs run this as an annual event.
If you search the Internet you will find plenty of sites with ideas for crafts, decorations, menus, themes, planning, you name it. Keep in mind the Spirit and Purpose of Cub Scouting.
