Scout Sunday/Scout Sabbath
As part of Anniversary Week celebrations, BSA designates the Sunday before the February 8th anniversary date as Scout Sunday and the Saturday following February 8th as Scout Sabbath.
If your pack, troop, crew or ship's chartered organization is a place of worship, this is an appropriate time to attend services in full uniform, and show your Scout's "Duty to God." Work with the religious leaders to find a harmonious way to celebrate Scoutings commitment to reverence.
Another way to celebrate is for Scouts to attend their own places of worship in full uniform.
This is an appropriate time to celebrate the earning of Religious Emblems.
