This training is designed for all Troop Committee members. Parents, transitioning Webelos leaders, and other adults expecting to support the success of a troop are also encouraged to attend. Informative and available online, why not take this training?

Take New Leader Essentials First!

New Leader Essentials provides an overview of BSA aims, purposes and methods. Troop Committee Challenge will make more sense after you have completed New Leader Essentials.

New Leader Essentials is only taken once during your Scouting Career. If you have taken New Leader Essentials while training for a different position or a different level, you do not need to retake it.
