What is Trainer's Edge?

This course provides and helps develop your trainer’s platform skills! This one-day course includes lunch, materials, great ideas and lots of fun! The Trainer’s EDGE replaces the Trainer Development Conference (BSA 500) as the required train-the-trainer course for Wood Badge and National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) staffs.

Pre-course Preparation

Please prepare an 8- to 10-minute training presentation on any topic from any BSA material. You can design your own, or choose one from an existing BSA training. Your presentation should allow you to demonstrate the skills of a trainer. As a part of the afternoon program, you will make your presentation to a small group of other participants. Part of this course provides for us all to learn from each other!
