We are excited to have Jake Eigenbrodt an Eagle Scout, Vigil honor member and 2019 NESA World Explorer as the 2020 Eagle Recognition Dinner MC.

Jake is an Eagle Scout from Troop 139 and Vigil Honor Member from Malibu Lodge. He is currently a student at Moorpark College, striving for a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Animal Behavior. He is aiming to enter the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program (EATM) at Moorpark College this August. Jake is most proud of being a Docent at the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens for the past 5 years. He was awarded the Duttenhaver Conservation Field Research Fellowship from the LA Zoo in 2018. He traveled to Kenya with fellow students and worked on research relating to elephants and sustainable agriculture.  In 2019, Jake was awarded by NESA to be one of two World Explorer Amazon Biologists, visiting Ecuador and assisting with camera trap research in the Amazon Rainforest. Join us as he tells us about his travels around the world and the impact of becoming an Eagle Scout.
