Local Scouts Recognize One of Their Own and Support First Responders

Alex MacDonald plans to create and deliver gift baskets to local first responders.

Troop 609 scout Alex (Zander) MacDonald is being celebrated by the Western Los Angeles County Council (WLACC) of Scouts BSA for achieving over $10,000 in popcorn sales this fall. Alex’s efforts are being recognized with a certificate for a free week summer camp at Camp Emerald Bay on Catalina Island.

Alex is planning to deliver popcorn gift baskets to give thanks to local Santa Clarita first responders. WLACC is partnering with Alex in his efforts so that he can give thanks to all the stations in the Santa Clarita area.
